Ta Xua is a mountain located in Tram Tau commune, Yen Bai province, which has an elevation of over 2.800m above the sea, in the Top 10 high mountain in Vietnam.
Ta Xua is well-known for the mysterious beauty of Mountain Peak on the Cloud sea, huge Turtle Head is out of mountain cliff and Dinosaur Backbone – with long, narrow and lumpy shape, magic forest like in the Movie “Alice in Wonderland”!
The Trekking Ta Xua mountain is considered one of the moderate trek (3/5), with the high & steep slopes, through the jungle & many peaks. But the spectacular view on the top will be a worth and unforgettable memory

Back to back trek at Tà Xùa (3D2N) and Tà Chì Nhù (2D1N): We had a great team (guide and porters also our chefs) who are warm and friendly.
Warm welcome from Homestay at Zoni, a clean and relax place to stay. We stayed only for 1N, wish could stay for 1more night and also explore the area.
Trekked to Ta Xua, even though was long and steep through “dinosaur back” and raining at moss forest but was a different experience, tired but fun!
Trekked to Ta Chi Nhu, we were so blessed that we had a great wonderful sunrise where we stayed long took countless fun enjoyable memorable photos!

We did the two day one night trek of Ta Xua and it was a wonderful experience! Nghia was an amazing guide and very professional. The food on the trek was delicious and Nghia always made sure we were comfortable. The Zoni Homestay was lovely to stay in the night before and after the trek. The family style dinner was amazing and Nghia and her husband were very kind and sociable. Overall, an amazing experience!
My brother and I did the two day one night trek up to the Ta Xua peak with Nghia (owner of the Zoni homestay and trek guide), and it was one of the best experiences we have had in Vietnam. From the moment we got to the Zoni homestay, we felt like we were at home. The property is beautiful and thoughtfully planned out, and Nghia was a very welcoming host. The trek itself was gorgeous- beautiful sea of clouds, sunrise, sunset, misty forest, and ridge-climbing all in one trip! Nghia was very attentive throughout and always made sure we were well fed (and caffeinated) to climb the mountain 🙂 A hidden gem in the countryside, I couldn’t recommend this experience more!
Incredible Ta Xua trek with Nghia!

Zoni Home Tram Tau is an amazing place. You are welcomed by the owners as it is your home, we shared really good moments with them. We did Ta Xua Peak Trek in 2 days with Nghia (the owner) and it was an incredible and unforgettable trek. My best days in Vietnam until now. I really recommand this place and the tours organized by Nghia!
