Pu Luong is located in the Northwest of Thanh Hoa Province, Vietnam. It is localted near Mai Chau & Cuc Phuong National Park.

Option 1: From Don village – trek to Eo Ken, Kho Muong villages(4 hours) ( L,D)
Depart from your Hanoi hotel at 7:00 and transferring to Hang Village ( 180km). Off the car for lunch then off the beaten path, we begin our trek to Hang and Eo Ken and Kho Muong villages. For 4 hours we will trek 8km through outstanding mountain scenery and picturesque rice paddies, see bamboo forest, Bat Cave and talk with the lovely local people.
Come back the car to Don or Bang village, spend the night in a local Thai family’s traditional house on stilts or private bungalow in a fantacy Ecolodge or lodge.
Option 2: Trek from Don village to Hieu waterfall ( ~15km trekking or combine with motorbike taxi)
Depart from your Hanoi hotel at 7:00 and start from Don Village ( 180km)
Our local guide will meet you here and having lunch.
After that, start trek to Hieu waterfall village ( cross to Lan village, Doc village), through local trail and Thai villages.
Arrive homestay of Thai people, having dinner here. You can swim at waterfall near.
Ban Hieu ( Hieu village) is a remote and off- the-beaten- track village in Pu Luong nature reserve. Lying in the steep slopes of jagged mountains, Hieu village overviews stunning valleys with its natural waterfall running day & night; and ever-green terraced fields extending from thickly forested slopes to water edge of muddy river. Dotted in that beautiful landscape are small settlements of wooden houses on stilts where local BlackThai ethnics live from generations to generations.
Option 3: Water wheels walk and rafting | 3 km easy walk – 1.5 hours | 800m river rafting – about 45 minutes ( suitable for family with kid or light activity)
Afternoon: After lunch and take free time to explore around your place, you will be transffed to a suspension bridge over the Cham River, where you begin your walk in search of stunning water wheels. Get up close to each wheel and discover how water is moved from river to handmade bamboo aqueducts via simple constructions of all sizes.
Arriving at a local fisherman’s house, you have a short rest to gear up for the bamboo river rafting . Float along the calm river and enjoy the views, in between learning how to paddle and steer your handcrafted rafts.
Arriving at scenic Tan Lap bridge, you disembark to be transferred back to homestay or ecolodge for dinner.
Opt 1: If day 1 stay at Kho Muong village, day 2 will trek to Hieu village ( 15km)
Opt 2: If day 1 stay at Hieu village, day 2: trek to Muong village or short trekking around Hieu village 2,5hrs before take the sharing bus back to Hanoi at 1pm.
The daily life here starts early, it will be interesting for you to get up at the first sign of day light and take part in the activities in the morning, or take a stroll around Don village before having breakfast.
Start trekking at 8:00 am. Today we will go for a trek of The first section is going dow the hill with some steep climbs and stream crossings. The second stage is glorious with beautiful views of the valley, rice terraces, Handicraft village. Lunch on the way( or at the waterfall of Hieu village) . Arrival in Hieu village is always special as the setting of the village is perhaps the most beautiful in Vietnam where you can admire the miracle waterfall, deer farm, traditional houses, terrace rice fields on the top of waterfall. 
12p.m We arrive Hieu Waterfalls (Thac Hieu) for lunch and swimming or playing in the nature pool in waterfall.
After that, we will transfer to the car and transfer back to Hanoi. Finish the tour 2D1N
