How about accommodation?

After a long day with a lot of activities, we know a comfortable place to rest overnight is a special concern. A relaxed and enjoyable accommodation is not only to state the quality of the tour but also to get the energy back for the possibly hard days after.

We can say Vietnam tourism has been developing so well so please do not worried about the accommodations when on tours in Vietnam. We can easily find and stay in a 3 to 5 star hotels in the big cities or touristic areas.

However, the Trekking and Motorbike tours of Zonitrip are almost at remote regions where accommodations are not like other big towns, so we’ll stay mostly at the standard hotels or home-stay. But don’t’ worry, they’re surely safe and the equipment is comfortable enough for you:

  • Hotels:

Most of the towns we stay during the tour are pretty small where there may be only one or few little basic hotels; however, they have will have most of the standard equipment for you to have a safe and comfortable stay such as soft mats, blankets, mosquito nets, Air-conditioning, clean toilets… and free wifi. We sometimes tour through some big cities/touristy areas and we can have better choices to stay in a better 3 or 4 star hotels.

  • Home-stay:

Mostly 90% of Zonitrip’s customers are pleased with staying at homestays.

All the families we choose to stay have special permits and are certificated from the local government. Most of the homestays are nice wood and clean houses on stilts, are owned by warmly host, who are local knowing well area. Below is the equipment you can expect to have at the homestay: private mats, blankets, mosquito nets, fans, clean toilets, hot water.

Time Standard accommodation Upgrade service
Night 1: Quan Ba Hong Thu Homestay or similar Dao Lodge
Night 2: Meo Vac Meo Vac Clay House
Night 3: Ha Giang city  Mr Thien homestay or similar Hotel 3 or 4 star
Night 4: Hanoi city  Hotel 3 star  Hotel 4 star
Night 5: Cruise Halong bay Cruise 3 star ( Swan or similar)  Cruise 4 star ( Pelican) or simialr
Night 6: Ninh Binh  Tam Coc homestay or similar Tam Coc ecolodge or similar

How's about the food?

We would like to say food on tours is one of the most important reasons to make our clients come back for more.
We serve almost local Vietnamese food on the tour. Generally, Vietnamese food is light but it’s surely not boring and so healthy. We can be sure all food is fresh with a lot of vegetables, especially for vegetarians.
We sometimes choose a basic roadside restaurant for meals or eating at homestay but the food is always fresh, tasty and plenty to choose.
Such as famous PHO (rice noodle soup), BUN CHA (special noodle with grilled pork), NEM (Spring rolls)…The local people have different methods to cook so we can be sure you can have different food for each meal during the long adventure tours in Vietnam.

How do I book and pay?

All our quotes are in USD/VND. We accept Visa/MasterCard by either directly giving us your card details or using our authorized payment form, Western Union, bank transfers or cash ( USD & VND).
Once you have agreed on an itinerary or service we will ask for a 30% deposit and start making reservations for you. Once all reservations have been made we will confirm back to you. The final balance is due on your arrival in our area or before your tour departs.

TRULLY MEMORABLE

Wow…. What can we say about the trip we have just completed with Zonitrip? We are a couple in our sixties from the UK and we like to think that we are fairly active. From the outset when Nghia and her husband picked us up from our hotel we were really well looked after and it felt more like touring with friends. All our many questions were answered in detail and Nghia’s passion and love for her country soon became apparent. We did various tours in the Northern region stopping off to see caves and waterfalls along the way. Our itinerary was totally flexible so when we saw a village festival for example, we had plenty of time to go and join in. We did a cycle ride and two really enjoyable kayaking trips where the scenery was incredible. Our accommodation was varied from nice hotels to basic, but thoroughly enjoyable “homestays”. We really enjoyed the local food which was more than plentiful and really tasty. Nghia gave us a tremendous insight into the true rural life by our “unscheduled” visits to various households who all welcomed us into their homes and showed us great hospitality.
The highlight of our trip was the day we spent on motorbikes in the Dong Van and Meo Vac region. The scenery was incredible and the whole day was great. We have some great photographs and some great memories from this whole trip. If you want to see the real Vietnam and really get off the well beaten tourist track then contact Nghia and she will put together a package for you. Many thanks to Nghia, her husband and the Zonitrip team for a trully memorable experience.

Trip of a Lifetime
My friends and I just got back from a 7 day trip with Zonitrip and we couldn’t be happier with our experience!! It was truly unforgettable and different from anything we have experienced before. Nghia and our lovely and experienced driver, Aging, took care of every detail and tailored unforgettable customer experience for us. We visited a wide variety of places having the opportunity to hike, bike, and kayak along the way. We saw beautiful landscapes, learned about Vietnam’s history and culture, were welcomed into local homes for meals, and learned quite a few words in Vietnamese! Having a local guide allowed us to have an authentic experience that would’ve been inaccessible to us otherwise and we are grateful to Nghia and her team for sharing it with us!

Our time in Vietnam is not easy to describe in words. Our guide Nghĩa took us to the most beautiful places where it was just us and the locals and we got a glimpse of local life that would’ve been inaccessible to us without her. It felt raw and real and we learned a lot about ourselves and each other. We laughed, we cried, we grew. In between, we did our best to take moments of mindfulness: by pausing and breathing deeply, doing some yoga, and feeling the immense beauty of our surroundings
